NAGAFF Founder, Aniebonam, Preaches Peace as Apapa Chapter Holds Election
*Donates N2 to candidates contesting election
The Founder of the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF), Dr. Boniface Okechukwu, has advocated for peace in the association for the overall interest of members.
Aniebonam particularly called on members who are aggrieved against each other over any issue to embrace peace.
This is coming as the freight forwarding association plans an election in the Apapa chapter.
Aniebonam said, “there must be an end to litigation and avoidable petitions”.
In a show of magnanimity, the founder who donated the sum of N1m each to two candidates contesting the election, called on them and their supporters to prepare for a transparent and credible election.
He said that the donation was simply for logistics support during the election.
The President of the association, Chief Tochukwu Ezisi, assured of his commitment to a people-oriented process, warning that any group causing distractions will face instant expulsion.
He also warned that national officers, board members, and standing committees who openly support candidates will be relieved of duty and expelled.
The leadership further stressed that “enough is enough for acts capable of dividing the one large happy family of NAGAFF.”
A new electoral guideline is expected to be released shortly from the office of the national president.
