Dantsoho Congratulates ANLCA on 72nd Anniversary, Restates Commitment on Port Modernisation Agenda

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has sent words of congratulations to the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) which celebrated its 72nd anniversary this week.
The Managing Director of the NPA, Dr Abubakar Dantsoho, in a goodwill message described the association as a key player in the nation’s logistics chain as well as international trade facilitation.
Dantsoho in the letter said it has been 72 years of continuous service for the association, since it was established in 1954.
According to him, it has been a testament to the association’s “resilience, professionalism, and enduring relevance” in trade facilitation.
Part of the letter reads, “Since your establishment in 1954, ANLCA has remained a cornerstone of Nigeria’s maritime logistics chain. Reaching over seven decades of continuous service is a testament to the resilience, professionalism, and enduring relevance of your association in facilitating international trade and driving national economic growth.
“The NPA deeply values the strategic relationship, constructive engagement, and mutual cooperation our organisations have cultivated over the years”.
The NPA CEO in the letter reassured of the organization’s commitment to ensuring the operating environment for customs brokers and providers of freight logistics.
Dantsoho also restated the commitment of the organization in the areas of ports infrastructure modernization and digital port operations.
According to him, the organization will continue to maintain an enabling business environment for the purpose of supporting the growth of businesses operating in the maritime industry,
He added, “As you commemorate 72 years of excellence, leadership, and service to the nation, we reaffirm our commitment to modernising port infrastructure, enhancing digital port operations, and maintaining an enabling business environment that empowers customs brokers and freight logistics providers to thrive”..
