NSC Boss, Akutah, Congratulates Dantsoho on IAPH Election, Says It Reflects His Exceptional Leadership Qualities

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) on Thursday congratulated the Managing Director of the Nigerian Port Authority, Dr. Abubakar Dantsoho, on his election as Vice President (Africa) of the International Association of Ports and Harbours (IAPH).
Executive Secretary of the Ports Economic Regulator, Dr Pius Akutah Ukeyima , in a press statement issued by the Council described Dantsoho’s election as a reflection of his exceptional leadership qualities.
Describing . Dantsoho’s emergence as a remarkable milestone, the NSC CEO said this “reflects his exceptional leadership, professional excellence, and unwavering dedication to the growth of the maritime industry”.
“This outstanding achievement is a source of pride to Nigeria and a clear recognition of your visionary leadership and steadfast commitment to advancing the maritime and port sector,” Dr. Akutah stated.
The Council commended Dr. Dantsoho for reinforcing Nigeria’s strategic position within the global maritime community and expressed confidence that his tenure will unlock greater opportunities for Africa while accelerating Nigeria’s aspiration of becoming a leading maritime hub.
Reaffirming its commitment, the NSC pledged its full support to Dr. Dantsoho in his new role, particularly in championing port reform, facilitating trade, and driving sustainable growth in the blue economy.
