FPSO Explosion: Three Crewmen Found Alive, Seven Missing, One Dead Body Floating Around Vessel

Three crewmen of the Floating Production Storage and Offloading (FPSO) which exploded last week has been found alive some days after the incident in Warri.
It was also discovered that the oil vessel had 60,000 barrels of oil as at the time of the sad incident.
In a statement by the Shebah Exploration and Production Company Limited (SEPCOL), Ikemefuna Okafor, an unidentified body was also seen floating near the vessel.
Part of the statement reads, “We can confirm that three crew members have been found alive in the community and our priority is to ensure that they receive the appropriate medical attention they need.
“Furthermore, in the early hours of Sunday, 6th February 2022, one dead body was discovered in the vicinity of the FPSO. The identity of the dead body is yet to be ascertained.”
The company said the fire was extinguished on Saturday, adding that the search of the missing crewmen has been on.
