Customs Strike Force Seizes Fake Drugs with NAFDAC Number
Fake drugs which have the National Agency for Food and Drugs Administration and Control (NAFDAC) registered numbers have been seized in Katsina state by the Nigeria Customs Service.
The items which were seized by the Strike Force Zone B, were valued at N6.1 million.
The coordinator of the Strike Force, Oseni Olorukooba, disclosed this during a press briefing on Tuesday.
The drugs, he said, were intercepted at Malumfashi and Jibia Local Government Areas of the state.
According to him, “52 cartons of EJAC powder manpower, hympashy capsule, amipara plus capsule, bobarak capsule manpower, sacks manpower, goldfly, gonorrhoea capsule and ginseng coffee manpower.”
The Strike Force also I seized 550 bags of foreign rice, 300 cartons of foreign spaghetti, 790 cartons of foreign soap which were concealed in cartons of biscuits and noodles’ were also seized.
