A mega container ship, MSC TRIESTE, may have run into troubled waters off South Africa.
FleetMon reports that SAR tug SA AMANDLA is to tow MSC TRIESTE to Port Elizabeth South Africa as destination changed from Tema to Port Elizabeth.
According to the report, present status unclear – either she’s anchored or in process of preparing for towage.
The report also has it that the cause of trouble unknown.
