Passenger Ship with 236 Passengers Suffers Engine Failure off Western Norway

Passenger ro-ro ship KONG HARALD suffered engine failure at night of Aug 24 in waters of More og Romsdal, northernmost Western Norway.
The ship was en route from Kristiansund to Bergen with 236 passengers and 70 crew on board, reports FleetMon online.
The disabled ship was caught in rough weather and dropped both anchors to prevent drift. At 2020 UTC Aug 24 crew managed to restart engine, the ship headed for Molde port More og Romsdal, under own power, where she safely arrived at around 2230 UTC same day, reports FleetMon online.
