Train Crushes Mother, Daughter in Itakpe-Warri
A passenger train on Thursday crushed a
mother and her daughter to death in Itakpe-Warri, Delta State.
The incident occurred in the afternoon hours at Aragba Orhuwhorun town in Udu Local Government Area of Delta State, an eye witness told newsmen.
The two were said to be crossing the rail track when they were crushed by the train.
They died on the spot, according to a source who could not give details of their identities.
As at the time of filing this report, the Police in Delta State could not be reached for confirmation of the incident which attracted a number of sympathizers to the scene, our source said.
