The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS,) Apapa Area Command has announced the collection of N366bn revenue in the past six months.

He said the figure showed 61 per cent increase over the amount recorded during the same period last year which he put at N227bn.

According to him, “The Command has taken a giant stride in the just-concluded month of June which yielded an outstanding result in its revenue generation.
“We are, therefore, motivated even to do more and more in the coming months”.

He added that the Command’s anti-smuggling campaign has helped in increasing the level of compliance and reduction in smuggling activities in the Command.
