Ex-Governor Okorocha in EFCC Net

The former governor of Imo State, Senator Rochas Okorocha has been arrested by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
EFCC spokesman, Mr. Wilson Uwujaren, told newsmen that Okorocha was arrested in Abuja Tuesday.
His arrest may not be unconnected with the running battle he has with the Imo State Governor, Senator Hope Uzodinma.
Uzodinma had ordered the sealing of some properties acquired by Okorocha and his family members in Imo state following a white paper report on them.
But Okorocha had insisted that the properties belonged to his family and removed the seal, a development that led to his arrest by the Imo State Police Headquarters.
He was later released on the intervention of the Presidency.
It would br recalled the Imo State High Court had also ordered the interim forfeiture of all the property said to have been acquired illegally by Okorocha.
