House of Rep Member, Ossy Prestige, Confirmed Dead
A House of Representative member and freight forwarder, Hon Ossy Prestige, has been confirmed dead.
He died Monday at the age of 56, according to a statement by a member of the family, Chukwu Nnanna.
The statement reads, “Hon. Prestige Ossy suddenly reported sick some six months ago and is presently receiving specialist care in Europe where he was transferred to after initial treatment in the United Kingdom.”
Prestige represented the Aba North/South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives.
He was a member of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) before contesting election under All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA).
He was a member of the House Committee on Ports and Harbours.
He had been rumoured as having passed on few weeks ago, but this was debunked.
