Nigeria’s Crude Oil Exports Suffer All Time Low in Three Years

Nigeria’s oil exports have suffered all time low in the past three years in what has been attributed to infrastructure inadequacies.
Nigeria is not alone as other West African countries also suffered the same problem, according to report by Bloomberg report.
According to Bloomberg tanker tracking data, West Africa’s oil exports fell to the lowest in the past three years.
The report showed that the combined flows from the region fell to 3.41 million barrels a day in January as against 3.8 million barrels a day in December.
The report noted this was the lowest since the past three years due to infrastructure issues.
The report said Nigeria’s shipment has been suffering in the past few months as a result of infrastructure related issues.
Nigeira’s loadings was reported to have fallen to 1.37 million barrels a day in January, in what was described as the lowest for four years.
