SON Gets New DG
A new Director-General of the Standards Organisation of Nigeria (SON) in the name of Mr. Farouk A. Salim has been appointed.
His appointment which takes effect from September 26, 2020, was approved by President Muhammadu Buhari .
He is to replace the current DG, Dr. Osita Aboloma, whose tenure expires in Sepember.
His appointment, it was gathered was conveyed to the new DG by the Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Mr. Niyi Adebayo in letter dated August 21.
Buhari had also appointed Mr Bashir Tijjani Babajo as the Executive Director Operations, Nigerian Agricultural Insurance Corporation (NAIC).
