Kwara: EFCC Drags Yahoo Boy on FBI Wanted List to Court

One of the suspects on the wanted list of the United States Federal Bureau of Investigations (FBI), Joseph Oyediran, has been dragged to court by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Oyediran was dragged before the Kwara State High Court, Ilorin onf five counts charge on internet fraud and other offences for obtaining from under false pretences.
He said accused to have received the sum of N60m through the use of Western Union.
The prosecuting counsel, Sesan Ola, who read the charges said the suspect in May 2015 defrauded an American lady, Andrea Smith, of the sum of N1,421,968, pretending to be in love with her.
He gave his name as Joe MG, a white American.
The suspect leaded not guilty to the charges.
Following this, the presiding judge Justice Mahmood Abdulgafar, adjourned the case to October 9 when trial will start.
