Kidnappers in Police Uniform Abduct Wife of Railway MD
Gunmen Wednesday kidnapped the wife of the Managing Director of Nigerian Railway Corporation (NRC), Mrs Francisca Okhiria.
Okhiria was said to have been trailed to the airport before being abducted by men in police uniform.
Edo State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Chidi Nwabuzor who confirmed the incident said an Army Sergeant attached to her was shot by the kidnappers.
According to him, the Sergeant is currently receiving treatment at military hospital in Benin.
Mrs Okhiria was kidnapped along NNPC filing station at Irhirhi, Oredo local government.
The gun men using a Toyota Camry had attacked Mrs Okhiria who was using a Land Cruiser Prado jeep.
