CSR: Shippers’ Council Donates Generators, Grinding Machines, Others to Ilara-Epe Community in Lagos

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has donated 6.2kva generators, local grinding machines, sewing machines, hair dryers as part of the agency’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) project, to the people of Ilara-Epe community in Lagos State.
The items were donated to boost livelihoods and improve community services to the people, according to the Ag. Director Special Duties, Mr Abere Moses, who led the team to make the presentation on behalf of the Executive Secretary, Dr. Pius Akutah.
Among the items were two sets of 6.2kva generators to aid in electricity supply, local grinding machines for food processing, sewing machines to promote in small-scale fashion businesses and hair dryers for beauty services.
The agency said the donation was part of the efforts to make positive impact on the lives of Nigerians.
The items were received in the Palace of His Royal Majesty, Dr. Olufolarin Olukayode Ogunsanwo (JP), FCTI, FNIM (Telade IV), the Alara of Ilara Kingdom.
