We Shall Deliver on Funtua Dry Port Project, NSC Boss Assures
As Perm Sec commends Council for team work on projects, programmes

The Nigerian Shippers’ Council (NSC) has assured that it will deliver as directed by the Minister of Marine and Blue Economy, Adegboyega Oyetola, in respect of the Funtua Inland Dry Port project completion.
Executive Secretary of the Council, Barr. Akutah Pius, said the agency is targeting 2024 to deliver the Funtua Inland Dry Port as directed by the Minister.
Akukah who spoke shortly after the retreat for the CEOs disclosed that the Funtua Inland Dry has reached 95 percent completion, noting that the directive given by the Minister of Marine & Blue Economy is realizable.
He expressed his readiness to unveil Council ‘s policy direction, adding that the NSC is gifted with hardworking and knowledgeable personnel that will deliver on any given target.
Meanwhile, the Council has received the commendation of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy during the presentation of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) of the ports economic regulator in Lagos.
Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Marine and Blue Economy, Dr. Magdalene Ajani, had during the event held for all the Chief Executive Officers of agencies applauded the Council for giving a well-articulated presentation of its KPI on projects, programmes and activities for 2023 to 2027.
Speaking on the occasion of a retreat organised for Heads of Agencies held at Eko Hotel , Victoria Island Lagos, Ajani commended the Council for team work existing among the management team.
The Permanent Secretary specifically applauded the NSC’ s management for the team work and support given to the Council’s boss, adding that collective effort was imperative for corporate success.
She said the team work has helped in achieving good corporate goals.
