League Condoles NPA MD, Bello-Koko, Over Passage of Father
The League of Maritime Editors (LOME) on Tuesday condoled the Managing Director of the Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA), Mohammed Bello-Koko over the passage of his father, Alhaji Muhammad Koko.
Koko was said to have died last week Friday in his home town after a protracted illness.
The President of the League, High Chief Timothy Okorocha, in a statement issued by the Public Relations Officer, Mr Francis Ugwoke, described the passage of the elder statesman as painful at this time.
Okorocha in his condolence message enjoined the family to accept the sad event and pray for the repose of his soul.
He also prayed to God to give the Koko family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
It would be recalled that the MD of NPA had last weekend announced the passage of his dear father in his twitter handle.
