ANLCA Inaugurates New ASECO Chairman, Aloy Igwe

The Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA) on Monday inaugurated the new Chairman of the Association Electoral Committee (ASECO), Chief Nze Aloy Emeka Igwe.
Igwe’s inauguration followed the passage of the former Chairman, Alloy Anokwuru.
Igwe who is a member of the Muritala Muhammad International Airport (MMIA) Chapter where he was a Chairman.
During the ceremony, Mr Sanusi Adebayo of Seme Border Chapter was also sworn in as a member of ASECO.
The inauguration ceremony which was held at the association’s secretariat, Amuwo, Odofin, Lagos. Was presided over by the Ag. President, Dr Kayode Farinto.
The event was attended by Chapter chairman and ASECO members.
Farinto had in his speech on the occasion advised the new Chairman and other members of ASECO to be transparent and shun bribery as they execute their assignment.
He disclosed that the appointment of the new ASECO was ratified at meeting of both NECOM and BOT members last week Saturday.
He said that the idea was to avoid vacuum after the passage of Anokwuru.
He said, “There shouldn’t be a vacuum and that was the reason this appointment had to be made”.
Farinto expressed optimism that the new ASECO leadership will do a good job, adding that there was a new dawn in ANLCA.
According to him, “If the election is successful, it will herald a rebirth of the association and its lost glory will return”.
