Customs Appoints Abdullahi Maiwada New Image Maker

The Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) on Monday announced the appointment of CSC Abdullahi Aliyu Maiwada as the new National Public Relations Officer of the Service.
Maiwada’s appointment followed the approval given by the Comptroller-General of Customs Col. Hameed Ibrahim Ali (Rtd) CFR.
The new image maker takes over from Comptroller Timi Bomodi who was recently redeployed to Kiri-Kiri Lighter Terminal (KLT) Area Command as the Customs Area Controller.
Maiwada holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Education/Geography and a Master’s Degree in Environmental Management from Bayero University Kano.
He also holds a Bachelor’s Degree and Master’s Degree in Mass Communication from Crescent University, Abeokuta.
Until his appointment, Maiwada was a former Customs Public Relations Officer in charge of idi- iroko, Ogun State Command of the service.
