Nigerians are still experiencing hard times while seeking to withdraw cash from their banks and there appears to be no hope of when the problem would be over.
Many banks are flooded as early as 7am by customers who want to withdraw cash as early as possible for personal needs.
But many had been disappointed as most banks hardly give up to N5000 cash where one is lucky.
Perhaps the worst scenario is that banks are shut and customers are abandoned outside the premises over fear by bank staff that they could be attacked by angry customers.
A scenario of banking premises shows a picture of many customers scrambling at the gates of most of these banks wailing to the security personnel who would not show any concern.
As at two days ago, some customers were given old Naira notes by some of the banks based on the Supreme Court judgment, but this is not being accepted by many traders.
The CBN was said to have approved that the commercial banks should start accepting 500, 1000 notes from customers who still have them.
Meanwhile, POS operators who have cash collect heavy charges on whatever they give to customers.
Some collect N3000 for giving out N10,000 in Lagos, while in the South East, it is said to be more.
To worsen the matter is that network has been very poor for traders who use POS to receive payment from those who have ATM cards.
Similarly, transferring money through the use of phone is also difficult, a development many complain has made business very dull.
