NIMASA DG, Jamoh, Consults Stakeholders on CVFF Disbursement
The Management of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency, NIMASA, has held meetings with maritime stakeholders as the federal government plans the disbursement of the Cabotage Vessel Financing Fund (CVFF).
The meeting followed the approval for the disbursement of the fund by President Muhammadu as announced recently by the Transportation Minister, Alhaji Muazu Sambo.
In a statement issued by the Head of Public Relations, NIMASA, Edwards Osagie, the Director General of the agency, Dr. Bashir Jamoh has continued with constant stakeholders’consultation and engagement to ensure effective communication to attain seamless disbursement of the fund.
NIMASA Management, this week, had a fruitful meeting with the Nigerian Indigenous Shipowners Association CVFF steering committee led by its Chairman Dr. Edward Sohwo.
Jamoh had during the meeting reassured Indigenous Shipowners of the commitment of the Agency under the supervision of the Federal Ministry of Transportation, to implement the Presidential approval for the disbursement of the CVFF.
