2026 Is A Year for Us to Consolidate on Gains of 2025 – NIMASA DG Assures Maritime Stakeholders

The Director General of of the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Dr. Dayo Mobereola, has described the year 2025 as a “momentous one for Nigeria’s maritime industry, adding that it was marked by significant achievements and renewed international confidence.
In a new year message, Mobereola, said he expressed appreciation to stakeholders for their “cooperation, partnership, and steadfast support throughout the past year”.
“Your contributions have been instrumental to the progress recorded across Nigeria’s maritime sector, and I look forward to even stronger collaboration in the year ahead”, he told stakeholders.
The DG disclosed that the resolve of the apex maritime agency is to consolidate on the gains recorded in 2025 and deliver even greater outcomes for the sector and the nation at large.
He said, “As we look forward to 2026, it is our firm resolve to consolidate on these gains and deliver even greater outcomes for the sector and the nation at large.
“I am confident that, working together, we will make this possible.
“On behalf of my family and the entire Team NIMASA, I wish you and your loved ones a peaceful, productive, and fulfilling Year 2026”.
