Tinubu Confirms Appointment of Wale Adeniyi as Customs Comptroller General

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has confirmed the appointment of Bashir Wale Adeniyi MFR as the Comptroller General of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS).
The news of his confirmation was released on Friday in a statement signed by the Director, Information, Presidency, Willie Bassey.
According to the statement, “the appointment takes effect from 19th October, 2023 and his tenure is in accordance with the extant provisions of the Public Service Rules (PSR)”
President Tinubu tasked the new CG to bring his wealth of experience to bear on his new assignment.
Adeniyi was appointed Acting CG about four months ago.
