Shippers’ Council Holds Discussion with Borno Governor on Establishment of New Dry Port

The Executive Secretary, Nigerian Shippers’ Council, Rt. Hon Emmanuel Jime, has held useful discussion with the Borno State Governor, Prof. Babagana Umara Zulum, on the establishment of one of the legacy Inland Dry Ports in the State.
Jime met with Zulum on Saturday, June 24, at the Governor’s office in Maiduguri, Borno State capital.
In a statement by the Head of Public Relations,
Rakiya Dhikru-Yagboyaju, the discussion was very fruitful.
The ports economic regulator has been encouraging investors to establish dry ports as a way of taking shipping services nearer to the people.
