SGF Dismisses Directive on MDAs Boards Dissolution by Tinubu

President Ahmed Bola Tinubu has not given any directive on the dissolution of management and boards of federal government agencies and parastatals, the office of Secretary to the Government of the Federation ( SGF) said on Sunday night.
The Director of Information in the office of the SGF, Williams Bassey told BusinessDay that the report was not true.
The paper quotes Bassey as saying that the ‘office does not work on speculations”.
However, indications are that some members of the ruling All Progressive Congress ( APC) are mounting pressure on the President to dissolve the boards so that new boards can be constituted.
A source said the President has been advised to be cautious and careful not to be pressurized into taking any rash decision.
