ALMAN Congratulates Umar as President Chamber of Shipping

The interim Board of Trustees of the Nigeria Maritime Academies Proprietors Forum, in conjunction with the National Executive Management Committee of the Association of Licensed Maritime Academies of Nigeria (ALMAN) on Thursday congratulated Alhaji Aminu Umar on the investiture and Inaugural ceremony as the 7th President of the Nigerian Chamber of Shipping (NCS).
In a statement, the Interim Secretary-General of ALMAN, Dr , Musa Akinyemi said Umar by his present election will reposition the shipping industry in Nigeria.
He added, “As partners in progress for the repositioning of the shipping industry in Nigeria, it is the hope and prayers of our Forum and the ALMAN that the coming on-board of Alhaji Aminu UMAR, as the 7th President of the Chamber will bring about Shipping Revival for Nigeria”.
The investiture is billed to hold today in Lagos..
