NAFDAC DG, Adeyeye, Reappointed for Second Term
The Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, Prof. Mojisola Christianah Adeyeye, has been reappointed for a second term in office.
Her reappointment by President Muhammadu Buhari was announced by the Director (Public Affairs) NAFDAC, Dr Abubakar Jimoh, in a statement on Thursday.
She is to spend another five years in office following the reappointment.
According to the statement, the Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Mr. Boss Mustapha conveyed the decision of the President reappointing Mrs Adeyeye with effect on December `1, 2022.
The statement said the reappointment of the NAFDAC DG was in consideration of her achievements in the past five years she was in office.
