NIMASA Former Director, Ogbuagu, Dies in Lagos
A former executive director with the Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA), Engr Oliver Ogbagu, is dead.
Ogbuagu died in the early hours of Sunday after a brief illness, according to family sources.
Following the sad news, the Director General of NIMASA, Dr. Bashir Jamoh, visited the family home of the deceased to register his condolence.
Jamoh described Ogbuagu’s death as painful for the industry.
In a statement by the Assistant Director, Public Relations, the NIMASA DG described the decease as a dear friend and professional colleague.
He prayed to God to grant the decease eternal rest as well as give the family the fortitude to bear the big loss.
Ogbuagu was also former Director General of Nigerian Shipowners’ Association (NISA).
