We Collected N224.47bn Revenue in 2021, Says PTML Customs Controller
The PTML Command of the Nigeria Customs Service (NCS) has said it collected the sum of N224.47 billion revenue last year.
The Customs Area Controller, Mr. Festus Okun told newsmen that the figure was an increase of 19 percent over what was collected the previous year.
He disclosed that the Command handled 199,487 metric tons of exports, which Free on Board (FOB) total value was N132.45 billion.
The Controller said that during the period, the command seized four containers with contrabands.
Among the items found in the container were rice, vegetable oil, vehicles and pharmaceutical products.
