29 Dead, 14 Missing over Boat Mishap in Kano

No fewer than 29 passengers have lost their lives after a boat mishap which occurred at Bagwai Local Government Area aof Kano state.
Fourteen passengers were also said to be missing after the incident which occurred on Tuesday, according to the Kano state government.
Commissioner for Information, Muhammad Garba, told newsmen on Wednesday that seven of the passengers have been responding to treatment in a state hospital.
Garba said the accident occurred as a result of over-loading of the boat which had . 49 passengers from Badau village to Bagwai town.
