Nnadi Takes Over as New Comptroller of Ogun Customs Command
Ogun 1 Area Command of the Nigeria Customs Service now has a new Area Controller in the name of Comptroller Dera Nnadi.
Nnadi took over from Comptroller Peter Kolo, who has started a three month pre-retirement leave as part of his retirement from the Service.
Nnadi who was recently promoted to the rank of Comptroller was the Deputy Comptroller, Administration in the Command.
According to a statement issued by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, DSC Hammed Bukoye Oloyede, the change of baton took place on Monday.
Comptroller Kolo during the handover ceremony described the appointment of Nnadi as his successor as a welcome development.
The new Area Controller Nnadi expressed his thanks to the Customs management for considering him worthy for the new position.
He pledged to do his best in the discharge of the responsibility before him.
He commended the outgoing CAC for his mentorship and selfless service to the nation.
Nnadi before being posted to Ogun 1 Command, Idiroko, was the Deputy Comptroller in charge of Enforcement at the Tin Can Island Command.
His performance led to massive seizures, including large cache of arms and ammunition, illicit drugs such as tramadol, among others.
