NPA: Bello Koko Appoints 3 Port Managers, Redeploys Others
The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has announced the appointment of three new Port Managers and redeployment of others.
The new appointees are Yitnoe Stanley Magaji Technical Assistant Marine and Operations to Managing Director as Port Manager Onne while Buba Jibril, former Traffic Manager, LPC, moves to Tin Can Island Port as Port Manager and Ovbude Nelson Uwaifo Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, now Port Manager Calabar
In a statement by the General Manager, Corporate and Strategic Communications, Mr Olaseni Alakija, the appointment and redeployment was in a bid to improve on port operational efficiency and position Nigerian ports to become the Maritime hub in Africa, South of the Sahara.
The appointment and redeployment was approved by the Ag. Managing Director, Mohammed Bello Koko.
The erstwhile Port Manager Tin Can Island Port Engr. Yunusa Ibrahim Anji moves to corporate headquarters as Assistant General Manager Port Engineering while Dantsoho M. Abubakar former Port Manager, Onne now becomes Technical Assistant to Managing Director, Special Duties.
Other appointments which take immediate effect include Okaga Charles Bamidele
Principal Manager, Traffic who becomes Technical Assistant Marine and Operations to the Managing Director. Leoso Akintunde Oladipo, Principal Manager Trafffic LPC assumes duty as Traffic Manager Lagos Port Complex while Aliyu Abubakar
Principal Manager Traffic Kirikiri Lighter Terminal takes over as Traffic Manager, Dangote Jetty, Lekki.
