Customs Agents, Industry Practitioners, Head to Ozubulu as ANLCA President Buries Mother Friday

The native home of the President of Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), Iju Tony Nwabunike, will this weekend host prominent customs agents and freight forwarders drawn from the various associations in the shipping industry all over the country as the former holds the funeral rites of his late mother, Nneora Maria Adaobi Nwabunike, who passed on recently.
The funeral rites will begin today at Ukuru-Eziora, Ozubulu,Ekwusigo Local Government Area of Anambra State.
The event takes off with Service of Songs between 5pm and 6.30pm at the Late Chief Johnny Okafor Nwabunike Compound, Ezenwelike Village, Ukuru Ezeora, Ozubulu.
There will be burial mass at 10 am on Friday, August 27 after which reception follows immediately at Central School Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Ozubulu.
Late Nneora Maria Adaobi Nwabunike, a community leader, a devout Christian and philanthropist passed on recently after a brief illness.
It was gathered that members of the Association of Nigerian Licensed Customs Agents (ANLCA), the National Association of Government Approved Freight Forwarders (NAGAFF) , the Africa Association of Professional Freight Forwarders and Logistics of Nigeria (APFFLON) and the Association of Registered Freight Forwarders Nigeria (AREFFN) have left Lagos for Ozubulu to attend the funeral rites.
Apart from the customs agents, big time importers, business men and politicians are also expected to attend the event.
