NDLEA Arrests Italy-bound Woman with 100 Wraps of Heroin
Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a woman , identified as Nora Nnadi, for allegedly possessing 100 wraps of heroin and two parcels of other substances in Murtala Muhammed International Airport in Ikeja.
Nora was on her way to Italy when she was nabbed at the departure hall of the MMIA.
In a statement on Sunday, the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, said she was arrested in Tuesday, August 3, during clearance passengers on Qatar Airways flight to Italy.
The drugs, according to the statement were concealed in five containers of hair relaxer.
In another development, the NDLEA also intercepted United Kingdom bound passenger 66.6kg of cannabis sativa, 1.6kg pf heroin and 1.450kg of cocaine with a combined weight of 69.65kg which were concealed in cosmetics packs on Thursday last week.
