CBN: Banks Refund N89bn to Customers in June
CBN GOVERNOR
Commercial banks in the country have refunded the sum of N89.2 billion to customers in the month of June.
The Governor of Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN), Mr. Godwin Emefiele who disclosed this said this was following complaints lodged by the customers.
The CBN Governor spoke on the occasion of the Fair it held in Cross River and Akwa Ibom .
Emeifele who was represented on the occasion by the Acting Director of Corporate Communication Department of the CBN, Mr Osita Nwanisobi, put the number of complaints from customers of banks as at June at 23,526, adding that 22,173 have been resolved.
