Robbers Attack Oil Platform in Gulf of Mexico, Cart Away Valuables

No Fewer than 8 armed robbers have robbed a Mexican oil platform SANDUNGA.
The robbers were said to have climed on board of the platform at night on July 19 at Bay of Campeche, Gulf of Mexico.
FleetMon online news reports that they fired shots in the air, forcing personnel to hide in shelters they could find, while the robbers ransacked platform.
The robbers took with them mostly professional equipment, like diving equipment, comms devices, breathing apparatuses, among others
Law enforcement teams arrived at platform early in the morning Jul 20, long after robbers fled..
