FG Sets Up Committee to Check Employment Irregularities in MDAs
The Federal Government Monday set up a committee to ensure that employment irregularities are curbed in the Ministries, Departments and Agencies, MDAs.
The Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Dr. Folasade Yemi-Esan, while inagurating the Committee expressed concerns over sharp practices in employment of civil servants in MDAs.
Yemi-Esan said this is being perpetrated by some officers in MDAs, adding that there were so many fake employment letters have been discovered.
She said that addressing the problem was necessary so that many prospective and eligible job seekers would not be denied jobs in their own country.
She disclosed that her office was already partnering with security agencies to investigate and bring to book those behind such fraud.
Chairman of the Committee who is also the Permanent Secretary, Career Management, Office of the Head of Service of the Federation, OHCSF, Mr. Mamman Mahmuda, assured that the Committee would carry out its assingment with a sense of responsibility.
