270 Exporters Get N195bn Grant from FG
About 270 out of 1,400 exporters approved by the Federal Executive Council have benefitted the sum of N195 bn as grant from the federal government.
The Debt Management Office (DMO) disclosed during a validtion roundtable recently that the amount was disbursed under the Export Expansion Grant (EEG) programme from the N350bn earlier approved by FEC for 1,400 exporters.
DMO’s Team Leader, Securities Issuance Unit, Portfolio Management Department, Mr. Adamu Mohammed, said the N195 billion for 270 exporters approved by the National Assembly was what was sent to the Finance Ministry and DMO for payment.
