Three Killed as Hoodlums Attempt to Invade Customs College
No fewer than three people were feared killed as hoodlums attempted to invade the Nigeria Customs Service Command and Staff College, Gwagwalada, Abuja, early Tuesday.
It was gathered that operatives of the Customs Service had fought back to ensure that the hoodlums did not succeed.
A video which was watched online showed there were several shootings by the operatives to check the hoodlums who were in search of goods to cart away.
The Public Reltions Officer of the Customs, Mr Joseph Attah who confirmed the incident told newsmen, “The hoodlums were repelled by the officers. They could not gain entrance. However, the invasion of our facility at Adamawa was unfortunate.
“They (refering to hoodlums) went to the warehouse and destroyed it and they now went to the Command’s headquarters and then vandalised government properties and even some seized items that were kept there.”
