Board of Maritime University Governing Council Dissolved
The Governing Councils of the Nigerian Maritime University, Okerenkoko, Delta State and the University of Port Harcourt, Rivers State have been dissolved.
In a statement by the spokesperson of the Federal Ministry of Education, Ben Gooong, the dissolution of the two Governing Councils takes immediate effect.
The statement did not indicate the reasons for the action of the government.
However, the statement said the Minister expressed thanks to members of the Governing Council for their services to the Institutions.
