Eunice Ezeoke elected President of WISTA
An Assistant General Manager, Tariff and Billing, Nigerian Ports Authority, Mrs Eunice Ezeoke has emerged as the President of the Women’s International Shipping and Trading Association (WISTA) Nigeria.
Ezeoke was elected in a keenly contested election held Thursday with 36 votes to beat Ortsematosan Edodo-Emore who took the second position with 16 votes, Victoria Tarfa – 15 votes and Obiagelli Obi with 12 votes.
Ezeoke is to be assisted by Mrs Ann Akpan, as the Vice President of WISTA.
Others include Chizoba Anyika who emerged as the Secretary and Dr (Mrs) Odunayo Ani – Treasurer.
In her speech on the occasion, immediate past President of WISTA Nigeria, Mrs. Mary Hamman, commended members of the association for all the support she enjoyed while in office.
She also enjoined members to give the same support to the new President.
