We’re Determined to Actualise Badagry Deep Seaport Project, Says Lagos State Governor
Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Sunday assured that his administration is committed to the acqualisation of the Badagry deep seaport project.
Speaking during the Badagry Integrity Awards 2019 organised by Badagry Parrot Prints and Publication, the governor said the project has remained in the heart of Lagos state government in the past four years.
The governor who was represented by his Special Adviser on Tourism, Arts and Culture, Mr Solomon Bonu said the state government has been discussing with the federal government on the deal as one of the ways to decongest Lagos.
According to him, “Badagry has the land and we are still praying to the Federal Government to listen to us so that the project will start on time. We are willing to do everything humanly possible to let the project start.”
