Uber Trucks to be Introduced in 2020, Says CRFFN
As Amaechi urges freight forwarders to operate by the law

The Council for the Regulation of Freight Forwarding in Nigeria (CRFFN) has promised to introduce tracking system among trucks operating in the ports in the form of the global uber taxi system
Head, Education and Research of the Council , Barr. Alban Igwe who spoke during the “Sensitisation Workshop on Frieght Forwarding As A Career” organised by CRFFN said this will revolutionize trucking system among freight forwarders in the ports industry.
Igwe said the planned uber system will be part of the reform of the haulage system in the ports.
According to him, it was one of the ways of easing business at the ports.
The Minister of Transportation, Rt. Hon. Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi had on the occasion said freight forwarders who fail to play by the rules of the game will find themselves out of business.
Amaechi urged the leadership of the Council to begin full implementation of the Act, adding that this was because President Muhammadu Buhari was a man of Rule of Law.
The President, the Minister said would want all agencies under him begin operation .
Attending the training are freight forwarders, shippers, cargo consolidators, shipping firms, and the media.
