NPA Redeploys Port Managers

The Nigerian Ports Authority (NPA) has redeployed its ports managers throughout the country.
The redeployment was contained in a memo signed by the Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman.
Under the arrangement, the present port manager, Lagos Port Complex (LPC) Hajia Aisha Ali-Ibrahim, been now moved to the Headquarters of the Authority, Marina as Assistant General Manager, Operations.
The Port Manager, Calabar Port, Olotu Bolanle Funmilayo, takes over from her in the LPC.
Similarly, the Port Manager, Rivers, Umar Abubakar Garba, now moves to Tin Can Ports, while Asien Marie Ehemeiri takes over from Mrs Olotu as the Port Manager of Calabar Port.
Simon Okeke is retained as the Port Manager, Delta Ports, while .Akporherhe Emmanuel who was Port Manager, Tin Can Island Port moves to NPA headquarters as Principal Manager Safety.
The new port manager, Rivers is Yunusa Ibrahim Anji, who was Principal Manager Environment.
However, Alhassan Ismaila Abubakar remains the Port Manager Onne Port .
The memo showed that the new . Technical Assistant (Administration) to the Managing Director is Isah Idri Danzymi who will be taking over from Musa Shehu Yaro who has been moved to Procurement Division as Assistant General Manager.
The redeployment was confirmed by the General Manager, Communications, Engr Jatto, who said the changes take immediate effect..
The Managing Director, Hadiza Bala Usman enjoined the new appointees to rise up to any challenge in their respective roles as the Authority is poised to deliver on its mandate to facilitate international trade in a safe and secured environment.
