Three Die in Kano Boat Mishap
The boat mishap which occurred last weekend at Fankanonoki Village, Tudun Wada in Kano claimed three lives, the State Police Command said.
In a statement by the Command’s image maker, Abdullahi Haruna, the victims were identified as Ashiru Hamish, 27, Ibrahim Tasiu 45, and Buhari Basiru 23.
The Police said out of eight passengers on board when the accident occurred, five were rescued.
The incident had occurred at about 3 pm last Sunday.
According to him, investigation was on to find out the cause of the mishap.
He also said that the remains of the victims have been handed over the respective families.
