EFCC Operatives Arrest 31 Yahoo Boys in Ogun, Seize 6 Exotic Cars
No fewer than 31 Yahoo Boys were Thursday arrested in Abeokuta, Ogun state by the operatives of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
It was gathered that the suspects were taken unaware and arrested at their Liberty Estate abode based on a tip-off.
EFCC spokesman, Mr Tony Orilade, said the arrest followed petition sent to the EFCC by concerned residents.
Some of the suspects claimed to be undergraduates, while others said they were self-employed.
Items recovered from the suspects were six exotic cars, charms, mobile phones and laptops.
The EFCC spokesman said the suspects will be charged to court.
