FG Declares Friday, Monday Easter Holidays
Friday, April 19 and Monday, April 22, have been declared as public holidays by the federal government to this year’s Easter celebration.
The Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Interior, Mrs Georgina Ehuriah, in a statement made the announcement on behalf of the Minister of Interior, Lt. Gen. Abdulrahman Dambazau (rtd) in Abuja.
The Minister called on all Christians to emulate the exemplary life styles of Jesus Christ by being tolerant and showing sacrificial love, peace among one another.
He also urged Nigerians living abroad to pray for the progress and unity of the country.
