Buhari Directs Ministers to Submit Handover Notes
President Muhammadu Buhari has asked ministers to submit their handover notes latest April 24.
The President’s directive was made known in a statement by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Malam Garba Shehu.
She said the President wants the appointees to make available status reports on policies and projects in their respective ministries and agencies.
The reports are to be submitted to the Presidential Audit Committee in the Vice President’s office.
The Presidential spokesman also disclosed that the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Mr. Boss Mustapha, has directed members of the Federal Executive Council to submit outstanding memoranda to the Federal Executive Council (FEC) before April 30.
It was gathered that the Ministries have equally directed its agencies and departments to submit handover notes.
